“Need the guy who people think can beat you”- Mike Tyson advises Israel Adesanya to fight Khamzat Chimaev

Israel Adesanya is one of the best middleweight fighters in UFC history, but still many believe Khamzat Chimaev can pose an actual threat to the middleweight champion if they ever fought in the octagon. Khamzat has risen in ranks quickly, with only 11 professional fights in his MMA career. Khamzat Chimaev is currently ranked 3rd in the UFC. Israel is also an incredible fighter and is undefeated in the middleweight division. Israel only has one loss that too in the light heavyweight division, when he moved up the weight class to fight the light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.
Khamzat Chimaev seemed inhuman till his fight against Gilbert Burns, but he is still a threat to Kamaru Usman at welterweight. Khamzat has also shown his interest in fighting Israel and has claimed that he would win against Israel because of the lack of his ground game. Israel Adesanya talked about this tweet in the podcast episode of Hotboxin by Mike Tyson and Mike advised Israel to fight Khamzat to prove to everyone why he is the best.
Israel said: “I want some fresh blood. He is fresh blood… I love what he is doing at 170.″ Mike reacted to this and said, “This is what you need. You need fresh blood. You need the guy who people think can beat you.”

“Don’t know where it is”- Israel Adesanya doesn’t know where is his middleweight belt

Israel Adesanya will defend his title for the fifth time at UFC 276 against Jared Cannonier and the fighter claims he doesn’t know where is his title belt. Cannonier earned his title shot by defeating Derek Brunson on the same card that Adesanya beat Robert Whittaker for a second time, and he will be one of the last challenges remaining for Israel at his weight class.
Israel has no clue where his belt is and he needs to find them before leaving for Vegas to compete at UFC 276. In his recent interview, Israel revealed this and said the belt is quite heavy and also said he is not attached to the belt at all.
Israel said: “The belt is quite heavy. I actually don’t know where it is right now. I’m not attached to that thing at all. I know who the f*** I am. I’ve been a champ before the belt. It’s heavy. It doesn’t need to be that heavy, but I think they made it heavy for the emphasis. So you know you’re holding something like, ‘Woah, this is something of substance.’ It’s a cool belt. I like it.”
Israel became the undisputed Middleweight champion by knocking out Robert Whittaker in 2019 and since then he has defended his title four times against Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori, and Whittaker again. He tried to become the double champ but was stopped by Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259.
