Charles Oliveira is certainly one of the most loved fighters in the UFC. He has shown incredible sportsmanship in victory and defeat. However, some fight fans who supported ‘Do Bronx’ were involved in insulting his upcoming opponent, Arman Tsarukyan. Oliveira will fight Tsarukyan in the historic UFC 300.

In the recent UFC 300 promotional Q&A session, Arman Tsarukyan joined new UFC signee Kayla Harrison and UFC champion Alex Pereira. Since fans were allowed to ask questions, the Armenian fighter faced numerous insulting and taunting questions. Many went overboard with their support of Charles Oliveira and completely disrespected Tsarukyan.

However, the #4 ranked lightweight contender handled the situation well. He remained calm and gave some fitting replies to the instigating questions. As such, when many insinuated Oliveira would knock him out, Arman Tsarukyan fired back stating he would produce an upset at UFC 300. The trash-talk from fans didn’t affect his confidence or his charisma.

Arman Tsarukyan previously fought Beneil Dariush at a Fight Night Event last year. He stunningly knocked out Dariush to make a strong case for title contention. As such, the UFC booked him against the former champion Charles Oliveira in a potential title eliminator. With high stakes, the two men would brawl it out at UFC 300.

MMA community reacts to the insult Arman Tsarukyan faced

Arman Tsarukyan made an appearance at the UFC 300 Q&A session at the Kaseya Center in Miami. With the fans taking turns asking questions, the Armenian was bombarded with insulting and instigating questions. An edited clip of fans using the promotional event to disrespect the UFC lightweight went viral on X.

As such, it received a lot of reactions from the MMA community. Notably, fellow UFC fighters Sodiq Yusuf, Michael Chiesa, and MMA filmmaker Will Harris commented about the disgusting nature of the fans’ questions. Here are the reactions:

The MMA community expressed rage towards the fans who missed the Q&A event to disrespect Arman Tsarukyan. As such, Michael Chiesa felt disgusted, and Sodiq Yusuf referred to Jon Anik’s point of view. Anik called the MMA fanbase the lowest common denominator in a podcast, owing to the hatred he received from them. Although many were enraged then, they tend to agree with him now. Further, many praised Tsarukyan for handling the situation well.
