Influencer boxing has been on the rise since Logan Paul fought fellow YouTuber KSI for the very first time. While one of the above two men were expected to spearhead influencer boxing’s growth, it was Logan’s younger brother Jake Paul who took on the responsibility. Compared to all YouTuber’s and influencers who switched to boxing, Jake Paul is arguably the most successful.
Paul had a successful start to his pro boxing career against fellow YouTuber AnEson Gib. Following his victory over Gib, Paul emerged victorious over Nate Robinson when the duo fought on the Tyson vs Jones undercard. While many believed Paul would not return to competition, the Ohio-born athlete kept his fighting dream alive when he fought Ben Askren. Considered to be his first real test, Paul passed the same with flying colors by knocking out Askren in round one. Since then, the undefeated boxer fought two more times against Tyron Woodley and won both fights.
However, after his knockout of Woodley, Paul is yet to be seen in the ring. The YouTuber was scheduled to face Tommy Fury. However, Fury pulled out from the same citing travel-related issues. Even though this was a massive disappointment, a replacement was quickly found in Hasim Rahman Jr. But, things took an even bitter turn when the fight was canceled due to weight-related issues. This indeed was a huge setback for both Paul and his fans. In what many believed would be a real test, the Rahman Jr fight never happened. While many still look forward to Paul’s return to the ring, Most Valuable Promotions dropped a statement about the same.

Fans will get to know whom Jake Paul will fight soon
Everyone has heard the famous phrase, ‘third time’s the charm.’ One man who stayed true to the same is Jake Paul. Regardless of two cancelled bouts, ‘The Problem Child’ seems to have not lost faith. Eager to make his return to the ring, Most Valuable Promotions gave an update about the same.
On Twitter, Most Valuable Promotions spoke about revealing Paul’s opponent soon. While much was not added about whom ‘The Problem Child’ will face, from the statement one can guess that Paul would be up for a tough task. Most Valuable Promotions wrote, “Next week we will announce JAKE PAUL’s next opponent. @jakepaul will almost certainly be the underdog. He knows that and he wants that.“

Even though we are close to the official announcement, fans have begun speculating about Paul’s next fight. While many believe the Ohio-born fighter will face either Fury or Rahman Jr, a new name that has emerged is KSI. It will indeed be interesting to see whom Paul chooses next.
