Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev
Nate Diaz won’t let Khamzat Chimaev live down his weigh-in miss during their fight at UFC 279.
Stockton superstar Nate Diaz had the best possible outcome for his final fight in the UFC. The fighter was initially set up for a potential disaster in a fight against Khamzat Chiamev but thanks to the Chechen’s terrible weigh-in mishap, Diaz ended up fighting Tony Ferguson and also managed to choke him out for a glorious finish to his UFC career.
Chimaev came in 8 pounds over the welterweight weight limit. Diaz was already talking smack when Chimaev couldn’t fight him. Recently, “Borz” came out hinting that he would fight in the middleweight division in the future. Nate saw the perfect opportunity to trash his rival for one more time and he took it.
“Duh I retired u from 170 dumb f**k” replied Nate in a deleted tweet to Khamzat. MMA Twitter was quick to screenshot the hilarious reply from the Stockton Superstar, however. Check out the tweet below:
