Mike Tyson is one of the most popular and liked individuals in the combat sports world. Former UFC star Nate Diaz had a little story of his interaction with Mike Tyson which he shared on a podcast. Here is what happened:
Nate Diaz narrated how he met Mike Tyson at the Palms Casino Resort. Nate revealed that he had gone to get some weed from a person. This is when he got invited to meet Mike Tyson and so he went. Nate Diaz said:
So we're sitting there rolling and chilling. Mike just telling us stories about this and that and this for like three hours. He had a towel, he's tapping his head, he's sweating like and we went home. I turned on the internet and I was looking up Mike Tyson stuff. And he had just come out with that documentary and like most of that documentary, like he just spit all that sh*t to us live. He just spit like 3 hours of that and like wow that's so cr*zy.Nate Diaz in an old interview

“Tyson” (2008) is a documentary directed by James Toback. It offers insights into the life of the former undisputed heavyweight world champion boxer, Mike Tyson. The film combined original interviews, former footage, and pictures providing a comprehensive look at Tyson’s life. The documentary explored Tyson’s time in juvenile detention to his relationship with mentor Cus D’Amato.
Tyson was reasonably self-reflective and honest in the documentary. He talked through his life and the documentary particularly focused on the headline events of his career. Some key moments were his rape conviction, biting Holyfield, his biggest wins and losses, and his marriage to Robin Givens.
Nate Diaz wants a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor
Nate Diaz is pushing for a trilogy fight against Conor McGregor to headline UFC 300. Diaz seems to be looking to settle the score once and for all. Diaz and McGregor have both expressed interest in their rematch. Nate Diaz stated that headlining UFC 300 would be even better than their previously canceled UFC 200 bout.

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor were supposed to headline the welterweight bout at UFC 200 back in 2016. They fought for the first time in 2016 at UFC 196. Diaz won the fight in the second round via submission. They fought again in August that same year, this time headlining the welterweight main event. The fight went the full distance and Conor McGregor won the fight via decision.
Since then fans have been eager about a potential trilogy fight. However, Nate Diaz’s exit from the UFC dampened all hopes. Now that Diaz had been hinting at a comeback fans have their hopes up again. The prospect of this trilogy would add excitement to the 2024 UFC season. However, it is unlikely that this trilogy fight will take place at UFC 300 if it happens at all. This is because Conor McGregor already announced his comeback against Michael Chandler this year at International Fight Week.
