“Want a fight against real fighters” Nate Diaz scathingly rips apart Khamzat Chimaev as he turns down the Wolf

Nate Diaz has been noticeably trying to avoid fighting Khamzat Chimaev, even the most ardent Diaz supporter can see that. Nate has avoided his callouts and even infamously tried to push the challenge onto his UFC-green teammate Nick Maximov when asked about it by a TMZ reporter, something that created a viral moment in itself. Now the former lightweight has claimed he wanted to fight the Chechen but Chimaev kept turning it down.
Diaz is on the last fight of his UFC contract and has been campaigning to get an opponent who has as many years in the UFC as he has for his final dance. Probable names have ranged from Dustin Poirier and Tony Ferguson to Michael Chandler. Despite mutual agreement from both parties, the UFC is still to offer him a fight keeping him in contractual limbo ever since his last fight against Leon Edwards in 2021.

Khamzat Chimaev claims Nate Diaz is stoned in response to call-out
Nate has gone above and beyond to express his frustrations on not being signed for a final fight or being released from the company very clear. Tens of Twitter rants culminated in an incident when Nate urinated outside the UFC Performance Institute, posting a photo with the caption, “I can do this cause the UFC won’t release me and I get paid more than all of yous”
Today Diaz revealed an already known fact with some new information that the MMA community was not privy to. He said, “I been tryin to fight for a year and months” claiming a lack of response from the UFC he continued, “I also tried to fight kamzat for the last month and a half but he was hurt, had visa issues, overweight and now his bitchass is off getting married,” said Diaz, obliterating the newly enshrined top-5 welterweight as someone who isn’t ever ready to fight.
Diaz also dismissed Khamzat to not be a real fighter while announcing he’s eyeing for a July fight date. He said, “I’m tryin to get a fight wit a real fighter asap/July LFG.”
Chimaev responded to the claim saying Nate was definitely smoking as he sounded high,”You sound funny” he said.
In an interview from the time he was caught up in a rematch against McGregor, Diaz revealed that a real fighter according to him is someone who shows up to fight regardless of the duration of a camp or any other factors. Do you think Diaz really accepted to fight Khamzat Chimaev?
