Featherweight star, Movsar Evloev has called out division champion, Ilia Topuria on social media. Evloev criticized Topuria after he recently teased a potential fight with bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley on X. Here is what happened:

Ilia Topuria had recently teased a potential fight between him and Sean O’Malley on social media. This would add O’Malley to Topuria’s ‘hit list’ of recent callouts which include Canelo Alvarez, Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and others. However, undefeated star, Movsar Evloev called out the featherweight champion for this on X. He retweeted Topuria’s tweet and wrote: 

Add another one to the long list that doesn’t include real contentender of the division. Boy doesn’t know what he wants

Sean O’Malley and Ilia Topuria are two of the most exciting young fighters in the UFC. The rivalry between O’Malley and Topuria began when O’Malley called out Topuria on social media. Topuria responded by saying that he would “destroy” O’Malley. The two have been going back and forth ever since, and the rivalry has only intensified in recent months. Last month, O’Malley said that he would be willing to fight Topuria if he got the featherweight belt.
