Nikita Krylov stops Alexander Gustafsson in gruesome fashion within 1 minute of the first round

Krylov managed to secure the first round finish over the UFC legend
Alexander Gustafsson will return to action against #11 ranked Light Heavyweight contender, Nikita Krylov. The two will feature on the main card for UFC London and will be the first time the Swede returns to action after almost 2 years.
The last time Gustafsson stepped in the cage was after retiring from the sport following his submission loss to Anthony Smith at UFC Fight Night 153. After a year lay off the former #1 contender returned to action in 2020 but lost to fellow veteran Fabricio Verdum in his heavyweight debut via another submission, this time an armbar. Though many thought Gustafsson to have been one with the sport, after Glover Texiera captured the LHW title, Gus had his flame reignited.
A win over Krylov can put the swede just one bout away from title contention, considering his status in the sport and dominant victory over former Champion, Texiera.
Krylov might look like a tune-up fight for the veteran considering that he is coming off two losses, but the competition he has faced is commendable to say the least. Despite losing to Paul Craig and Magomed Ankalaev in his last two, the Ukrainian has impressive victories over Johnny Walker and OSP. A win over Gustafsson can be another legend to be added to his impressive resume while moving him up the rankings
