“Last fight in the Uk”- Paddy Pimblett envisions PPV appearances following UFC London

Paddy Pimblett

The 17-3 professional MMA record of UFC Lightweight Paddy  Pimblett speaks for itself. The following match for Paddy Pimblett has been formally declared. He will compete in his home nation once more this summer after his performance at the O2 Arena in London in March, where he shocked his countrymen. And this time, he’ll compete against another rising lightweight.

Pimblett will fight another skilled grappler in Nevada native Jordan Leavitt in his third outing in the Octagon. Six of “The Monkey King’s” ten victories in his professional career have been through submission, including his victories on “Dana White’s Contender Series” in 2020 and this past December that earned him a contract with the UFC.

After just two victories in the organisation, Pimblett has established himself as one of the UFC’s most favoured fighters. Because of his fighting style and amusing interviews, the Liverpudlian has gained a cult following around the globe, which Pimblett anticipated several years ago.

The idea of organising an event at the stadium has previously been shot down by Dana White, who claimed he wouldn’t hold an outdoor event in England due to the uncertain weather. Pimblett wants to participate on pay-per-views in his upcoming fights because he feels that using his star power on Fight Night events in London is a waste.

He stated, “I’m the one that’s getting the bums on seats. This will be my last fight in the UK for a good few years until we do Anfield. After this, I’ll be fighting on pay-per-view. The UFC is losing too much money having me fight on ESPN+ in the states.” He further added, “I’ve said for years I’m going to be the biggest MMA star on the planet, I’m nearly the biggest star in the UFC already and I’ve only had two fights. I’ve had more media than anyone else this week.
