Paulo Costa cancels his icecream competition against Paddy Pimblett in hilarious fashion after the Scouser was allegedly arrested for “High-Speed Eating”

Paddy and Costa are two fighters who look vastly different once they're out of Camp
Paulo Costa will have his Ice Cream eating competition with Paddy Pimblett one way or another. What started off as a joke before UFC London has manifested into a full-blown obsession by Costa to prove that he is the heavier eater among the two.
Paddy is known to get incredibly out of shape, sometimes only a few days removed from his fight. This has perplexed many as the scouser always has managed to make weight regardless of his eating habits. Someone who is jealous of that fact and could use some tips himself is Paulo Costa.
Unlike Paddy, Costa’s eating habits have left him in non-ideal situations most notably in his recent fight against Marvin Vettori. The whole fight week was mired in controversy as the Brazilian walked in almost 35 lbs over the middleweight limit and refused to cut any weight.
While the bout wasn’t cancelled , it had to be moved up to a catchweight of 190 and later to a full-fledged light heavyweight competition while also costing Paulo around 30% of his fight purse.

However things have changed now and after a few motivational tweets from Paddy in the lead-up to UFC 278, Costa made weight and managed to bounce back into the win column with a FOTN performance against Luke Rockhold . However, since then he has one goal and only one goal in mind, beating Paddy in an eating competition.
The two initially agreed upon competition of this kind when they were both in their camps and Costa wants to follow through as both of them are currently in the US. To this effect, he regularly posts call-outs on Twitter to lure the scouser into an open competition.
However what he might not know is that Paddy has long been banned from Twitter and may not reply to his messages any time soon. However Costa seems to have found an alternative explanation that could explain why their ice cream competition may never happen.
The Brazilian recently posted a video to Twitter of a Liverpool native being arrested and assumed it was Pimblett who was on the ground. “Unfortunately The ICE CREAM COMPETITION Costa x Pimblet needs tô be canceled”, announced Paulo via his Twitter with a video to go along.
Referring to the cops as “The F*** Police” Costa assumed his friend was taken in for, “eating at high speeds”
Costa is currently in the US while he comes to terms with the UFC about his latest contract with the company. Pimblett on the other hand is stateside to fulfill his role as an ambassador for Barstool.
