UFC 294 will showcase the highly anticipated showdown between Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev. The duo will headline the co-main event at the middleweight division.

Most recently, Paulo Costa revealed the screenshots from his girlfriend’s DMs. And it was none other than Khamzat Chimaev. Chimaev had privately messaged images of Paulo Costa to Costa’s girlfriend and manager, Tamara Alves. “I gonna report this harassment … Don’t be fooled by that beautiful face inshala,” Costa wrote.

The images Chimaev sent were captures from Costa’s bout with Israel Adesanya. “Haw you can be together with this shit, he like black boys,” one of Khamzat’s DMs read. Paulo Costa is pretty sarcastic and light-hearted on his social media writings and it is therefore unsure whether he would actually report Khamzat Chimaev’s actions. ” I felt threatened by this handsome guy calling her on dm,” Costa wrote.

The long-standing rivalry between Costa and Chimaev has geared up the anticipation of this fight. The duo have gone back and forth on social media and trolled each other, all in public record. This helped create the build-up much before the fight was even announced.

Khamzat Chimaev plans to make Paulo Costa cry at UFC 294

Khamzat Chimaev had been without a fight for over a year now. He will finally return to the octagon at UFC 294 against Paulo Costa. The fight will commence this October in Abu Dhabi.

During his appearance at the UFC London event in July, Chimaev shared his enthusiasm for being able to deliver a thrashing and earn a living while doing it. He expressed confidence in receiving support from the audience in Abu Dhabi and wanted to reciprocate the love by showcasing his fighting spirit.

Khamzat went on to reveal his plans for facing Paulo Costa. He pointed out Costa’s knack for talking and expressed confidence in being able to shut him up. ” That guy… talks too much. My last opponent talked too much as well … I make them cry, ” Khamzat said. Fans are highly excited about this enticing and long-awaited matchup.
