UFC 278 is going down at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah this weekend and the hype around it is massive. The main event will take place between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards who will fight it out for the welterweight title. Other than that, in the co-main event fight, Luke Rockhold will be making his UFC comeback against Paulo Costa.

UFC recently held the pre-fight press conference and as expected things were extremely heated up between fighters. Rockhold and Costa especially didn’t hold back their words while meeting for the first time face to face. Both the fighters shared several heated arguments and it made the conference much more interesting.

“I’ll treat Paulo like a b*tch if it gets to the ground, It’ll be over,” Rockhold told reporters when asked about how he thinks about the fight going down.

Paulo Costa replied with a sneaky laugh and said “Oh, man, come on. This guy is too old to say this kind of bullish*t. Come on, man. Come on.”

This started a series of heated arguments with Rockhold accusing Costa of not taking the fight and delaying the fight. He said :

“This motherfcker didn’t want to take this fight in the first place. The UFC forced it down his throat, and he delayed it twice. Month after month after all the cosmetic bullsht you got done? You little b*tch, shut up.”

After all that back and forth throughout the press conference, it was finally the time for the face-off between the fighters.

Costa and Rockhold as expected were extremely unpleasant to each other and needed to be held by the security. With the security team and Dana White in between them, the fighters would have hit each other.

During all that chaos, while most of the things were inaudible, it was audible that Costa was asking Rockhold to take it easy and stop reacting. “Be cool, be cool. Star today.” the Brazilian said Rockhold inches across each other.

Costa in his last fight faced criticism for not making weight and was labelled as unprofessional. However, for this fight, ‘Borrachinha’ is looking extremely lean. On other hand, Rockhold is also confident about his training camp and is in a positive mindset. It’s going to be an amazing showdown and fans are up for it.
