Paddy Pimblett has taken a significant step to revamp his eating habits after fight nights. His passion for food has endeared him to fans who share the same love. Paddy’s unpredictable weight gain has forced UFC officials to get in the habit of planning his fights months beforehand.
MMA experts and fellow fighters have scrutinized Paddy Pimblett’s lifestyle choices. The constant back and forth between gaining weight and losing weight takes a toll on one’s health. Especially in the fight game. Following his ankle injury at UFC 282, Pimblett is now on the road to recovery. In a recent interview with SLOTHBOXX, he offered solace to his devoted fanbase. The Irish fighter shared that he is making a conscious effort to stabilize his weight and maintain a balanced diet.
“After a fight, I’ve got a bad eating disorder…after the surgery, my weight has just gradually come down,” Pimblett said. Presently, Pimblett is comfortably hovering around 185 pounds without meticulously monitoring his food intake. He has reached a plateau and is committed to not surpassing this weight in the future.
In the past, he would consume a staggering 8,000 calories daily after fights, but he is now determined to break free from that pattern.“After every fight, I’ve just ballooned up and started eating 8,000 calories a day. Now I probably won’t do that.”
Paddy Pimblett emphasizes his future plans and responds to criticisms
