UFC fighter Bo Nickal posted about a recent golfing session with former President Donald Trump on his Instagram. The former US president is facing three indictment charges against him, with the current one filed in early August. Trump is a big fight fan and recently came to watch Nickal fight at UFC 290.
Trump has been a huge fan of the UFC since its starting years. Due to his close friendship with Dana White, Trump has always supported the growth of this organization. He has attended many UFC events and is well-loved by the MMA community. Due to his interest in the combat world, Trump has many acquaintances from the organization, including Justin Gaethje, Jorge Masvidal, and Colby Covington.
Trump is known to be a big fan of golfing. He golfed with one of the most talented UFC fighters in, Bo Nickal. Both individuals clicked a picture, with Nickal later posting it on his Instagram. Trump was in his usual white and blue with a MAGA hat. On the other hand, Nickal sported shorts and a blue cap.
Nickal is currently competing in the middleweight division of the UFC. Due to his illustrious wrestling background, Nickal has gained a lot of publicity. Fans view him as a future UFC champion in the making. After this meetup, many fight fans worldwide will hope that Nickal doesn’t face any negative publicity from Trump critics. Bo Nickal anticipates three more fights before a title shot
UFC prospect Bo Nickal has finished all his opponents, with four of them ending in 2 minutes or less. Such performances have made Nickal the talk of the town. No other upcoming fighters have risen to fame faster than him other than Khamzat Chimaev.
There’s been a feeling around the UFC that a fighter of Nickal’s caliber will potentially fight for the title sooner or later. When asked about Nickal’s opinion on title fights, he felt his route to a title shot would be faster than other fighters in the division. He expects around three more wins against top contenders could land him a title shot.
Nickal won his debut in the UFC against Jamie Pickett with an arm-triangle choke submission in the first round. His growth in the organization has been imminent with his 38-second finish against Val Woodburn at UFC 290. Nickal and his team are currently discussing a comeback date for the fighter. Some sources suggest it could be in December 2023 or sometime in the first quarter of 2024. A number of big names in the UFC middleweight roster are rising in ranks, making it one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC.
