UFC press conferences can become a heated affair. Yesterday, Colby Covington led the trash-talk during the UFC 296 press conference. Today, Sean Strickland and Sean O’Malley went at each other. The UFC arranged a press conference for the fighters who headline the upcoming PPV events in Q1 of 2024. The duo only took a few minutes to intrude into their personal lives and troll each other.
Recently, Sean Strickland has been outrageously outspoken about fighter’s personal lives. He criticized and mocked Ian Garry and his wife at first. Now, he went after Sean O’Malley and his wife. He trolled the two, quoting their open relationship. In response, O’Malley fired back with a line involving a horrendous childhood incident of Strickland with his father. Here is what Strickland said:

Although Sean O’Malley retaliated with a stronger narrative, this didn’t affect Sean Strickland. He continued to go on a profanity-involved rant about the bantamweight champion. Further, he trolled ‘Suga’ as a clown and mocked the crowd for supporting him. As the exchange between them got more verbal and awkward, Dana White interrupted them and moved on to the next question.
Sean Strickland and Sean O’Malley headline the UFC 297 and UFC 299 fight cards, respectively. They go after title challengers Dricus Du Plessis and Marlon Vera, respectively in an attempt to defend their newly attained UFC title. As such, we will see them in action in 2024.

The UFC organized a seasonal press conference for the fighters who headline the upcoming PPV events in 2024. As such, UFC champions Sean Strickland, Sean O’Malley, and Alexander Volkanovski made their appearances.
Their respective title challengers were also present at the event. As such, the crowd booed Marlon Vera, who takes on ‘Suga’ for the bantamweight championship. In support of Vera, Strickland took the microphone and had a heated exchange with Suga.

Sean Strickland didn’t hold back in going at Sean O’Malley. He mocked him for his open relationship with his wife. However, in return, ‘Suga’ went after Strickland by mentioning the instance when his father molested him. Although it was getting personal and deeper, Strickland was a good sport and just fired back with slurs. This garnered interesting reactions from the fight fans. Here are some reactions:

As such, fight fans rejoiced in the verbal war between the Seans. They go into business next year and put their respective titles on the line. Strickland faces Dricus Du Plessis in UFC 297, while O’Malley faces Marlon Vera in UFC 299.
