Khabib Nurmagomedov had a decorated career in the UFC. Despite being at the peak of his career, he made the surprising decision to retire. Khabib had won 13 consecutive fights with three successful title defenses to his name. After his father’s demise, he quit competing because of his mother’s wishes.
Despite stepping away from the sport, Khabib’s life continues to be a topic of fascination for fans. A recently surfaced video of him with his cousins went viral on social media. The video showcased Khabib playing the popular game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) on his laptop. Meanwhile, his teammate Islam Makhachev enjoyed the game on a full-blown gaming rig. For those unfamiliar with CS: GO, it has remained a favorite competitive shooting game for over a decade.
Khabib was already spotted enjoying the digital sphere in his younger days. He was shown in a prior video playing the PS2 UFC game when he was a teenager. He went with Tito Ortiz, a UFC fighter much like him who was renowned for his prowess on the mat. The ‘Eagle’ also seems to have a fondness for video games in addition to football.
