“Ready for new challenges”- Rising UFC star David Onama declares brand new contract extension with the promotion

David Onama is a Ugandan national who competes in the UFC since 2021. Silent Assassin is scheduled to face Nate Landwehr on August 13, 2022, at UFC on ESPN 41. Onama is replacing Zubaira Tukhugov, for the fight. He currently trains at Glory MMA fitness in Missouri under head coach James Krause.
David Onama made his MMA debut back at KCFA 32, he defeated Fransisco Pintos by TKO in the second round. He went on to win his next two bouts in the promotion. LAer debuting with FAC, he made his promotional debut at FAC 2. Onama defeated Antonio Castillo in round one. The Ugandan native would go on to win his next four bouts under the FAC banner before debuting in UFC.
The Silent Assassin made his UFC debut replacing Alan Patrick. In short notice fight moving up to lightweight against Mason Jones at UFC Fight Night: Costa vs. Vettori on October 23, 2021. The Ugandan native was defeated in the bout by a Unanimous decision. He went ahead to win his next two bouts in the promotion. At the age of 28, David Onama’s MMA record stands at 10-1.
David Onama signs a new 4 fight deal with the UFC

Earlier today, The Silent Assassin took to his Twitter account to inform the MMA community about the signing of his new 4fight deal with the UFC. He went further to thank his management for the deal. Onama also praised his management for their work.
Tweeting out, Onama wrote, “Proud to announce I’ve sign a new 4 fight deal with the UFC. I’m ready for all the new challenges in front of me. Thanks to the best management team @TeamIridiumISA for all their hard work. This wouldn’t be possible without you guys. Thank you for believing in me.”
David Onama is currently on a two-fight win streak going into his 4th bout in the UFC against Nate Landwehr(10-1). It would be interesting to see how he fairs out against some of the best UFC has to offer.
