At UFC Vegas 54, Ryan Spann fought against Ion Cutelaba and registered a huge win.UFC Vegas 54 just took place inside the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight card was stacked and the fans got an entertaining event.

In the main card, Spann and Cutebala went all out from the first second of the fight and were hungry for a win. Spann was looking for a comeback from his last loss. On the other hand, Cutebala had plans to continue his winning streak.

In the first round, Spann caught Cutebala with a shot and then instantly got a guillotine submission. It was Spann’s 20th professional win and 12th a submission. The 30 year old will certainly get a boost in the division rankings and will most probably face the top 10 light heavyweight fighters next

After getting that impressive win over Cutelaba, Spann appeared on the post fight press conference of UFC Vegas 54.

In the interview, Spann was asked about his previous remarks about him getting on his own way. While responding to the question, the fighter revealed that he was able to do it for a little. Spann explained that his mind is a chaotic place and he makes things tougher for himself. All that disturbance in his mind generally sneaks out and everything gets affected. The fighter claimed that he is trying to work on himself.

” Umm, a little bit. There are still some chaotic moments that tends to happen in my brain, I make things a lot harder for myself than they should be. Sometimes the chaos seeps out of my brain and kind of makes things around me chaotic. Which is why I said, I need to go and fix myself of and then when I comeback I would be out of my way,”said Spann.

Before the win against Cutebala, Spann suffered a massive loss against Anthony Smith at UFC Vegas 37. After the fight, he had no other choice but to come back to winning days and he delivered.
