“A Hero” Sam Alvey finally terminates his relationship with the UFC and fans are feeling a thousand emotions in very hilarious ways
Watch how Twitter reacted to Alvey's termination
Sam Alvey has been cut from the UFC. A lot of promising fighters and established legends had to say goodbye to the premiere MMA organization before that sentence could be written down.
While Sam was on one of the most prolific losing streaks in history, managing to get finished in 5 of his last 8 losses, he was still certain that he can peacefully retire after getting that final win. However, at UFC Vegas 59, Sam again came up short and the worst part is the UFC never explicitly asked him to leave even though they said he should be considering retirement.
Sam however had different plans of gaining a victory, signing a new contract, and earning a ton of fans doing it. Thankfully the UFC finally decided to pull the plug and Alvey is finally out of the UFC for good.
Fans felt a weird range of emotions from ironic sadness to pure joy over the sacrifices made to the MMA Gods until then to make this moment happen.
