UFC Middleweight, Marvin Vettori ridiculed the 65th Grammy awards performance by singer, Sam Smith in a tweet on Tuesday. Vettori’s tweet was met with harsher reactions from fans.
The 65th Grammy awards took place on Sunday wherein singer and songwriter, Sam Smith’s performance triggered UFC middleweight, Marvin Vettori. “This is nasty. Wtf is going on,” the fighter wrote with a video of Sam Smith’s performance attached.
The controversial performance at Grammy’s was slammed by Vettori after the fighter got triggered to what fans have been calling “somewhat satanic.” Since then, the Vettori has been trolled by the MMA world on his Twitter thread.
Vettori has also been met with outrageous reactions from a contingency of fans after his “Free Top G” tweet to oppose the recent arrest of the Tate brothers. Sam Smith’s performance of his song ‘Unholy’ from his latest album has also triggered a large contingency of Christians around the world.

Marvin Vettori’s comments have triggered some of the fans, while others have shown support for the Italian fighter. Sam Smith’s Grammy performance was seen as a controversial highlight of the entire awards ceremony.
While religious, conservative, and liberal people around the globe have started taking stances against each other, Vettori joined the wagon to take his preferred stance via the recent tweet.

“That’s what we were all thinking when you lost to Adesanya but still couldn’t admit that he’s better,” a user replied to Vettori’s tweet. Vettori is coming off a loss to Robert Whittaker via decision last year and has been scheduled to fight Roman Dolidze at UFC 286.
