Sean O’Malley will return to the octagon on Saturday to face Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276. Sean will enter the octagon for the first time this year and fans are excited to see how “sugar” Sean performs in the octagon. Fans, however, have also trolled Sean for claiming that he is undefeated inside the octagon. Sean has a professional record of 15 wins and 1 loss. However, he does not acknowledge his loss and does not consider it genuine.

Sean fought Marlon Vera at UFC 252 in August 2020. While the fight was exciting and both fighters traded hard punches, things soon went south for Sean. His legs gave away after constant leg kicks from Vera. This caused him to immediately fall on the ground and Vera capitalised the opportunity to throw heavy punches to Sean. The fight ended after Sean could no longer defend himself, which caused the referee to intervene and end the fight.

Sean, however, does not accept this loss and claims that if his leg would not have given away, he would have won that night. He stands by his stance and claims he is undefeated and has a record of 15-0. Sean attended Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast and cleared that he was still undefeated in the UFC.

After his claims of being undefeated, Fans were quick to troll the bantamweight fighter on social media. Many fans pointed out that his claims have now turned cringe and he should just accept his loss and move on. Fans trolled him for crying about his loss and giving excuses about what went wrong inside the octagon.

Sean O’Malley might not accept his defeat against Marlon, but he has certainly improved his skills and has been performing exceptionally well inside the octagon. After his loss at UFC 252, Sean O’Malley won his next 3 fights and will now face Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276 to move up in the bantamweight division. Marlon has been performing equally well after their fight and with both fighters aiming to earn the UFC gold, a rematch might take place in the future that might settle all the arguments about the first fight.
