‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley and Merab ‘The Machine’ Dvalishvili became the talk of the town after their interaction at UFC 288. When Merab stole the jacket of Sean O’Malley, the whole MMA community got their new hot debate. Since then, Merab Dvalishvili has constantly sparked a beef with Sean ahead of the upcoming title with Aljamain Sterling. Nevertheless, O’Malley did not care about it until now.

Sean O’Malley remains focused on his upcoming fight at UFC 292. On the other hand, ‘The Machine’ mentioned the Michael Jackson-inspired jacket in many of his interviews and took shots at O’Malley. O’Malley finally responded on his podcast with his coach Tim Welch. He said, “That sucks though — Merab’s beat good guys, he’s had a good career, and no one gives a f***.”

O’Malley was at The Timbo Sugar Show when he commented on Dvalishvili’s constant talk about his red jacket. O’Malley said, “The most exciting thing to ever happen to him was me giving him my jacket to hold, and it’s like he’s running.” Sean confirms, “He bought a replica; he’s wearing it. He’s trying to do as many interviews as he can. He’s like, ‘Holy f***, this is what it feels like to have anyone give a f*** about me.’”

The 28-year-old continued, “It’s like, dude, that was three weeks ago, bud. Take it off. It’s not even the real one. It’s the f***ing fake one that you bought, bud.” This indicated that Merab continued the jacket antics on O’Malley for his best friend, Aljamain Sterling. Possible mental warfare can exist between the constant mind games played by Merab with the jacket.

The act for Merab’s gameplay was captured on camera during his interview with Nina Marie Daniele. At the interview, Nina brought the same jacket she claimed belonged to Sean O’Malley. In the interview, Merab offered his plans regarding an MJ-style jacket. O’Malley refuted the claim that the jacket belonged to him and rather it was a replica.

‘The Machine’ directly said in the interview that he planned to wear the same jacket until Sterling beats O’Malley. Then he asked Daniele for a collaboration to sell this jacket after the title bout. He even asked to put the jacket on Instagram for sale.

At UFC 288, Sean O’Malley entered the cage with his jacket on. O’Malley removed the jacket inside the octagon for a face-off with the champion. Unfortunately, he did not realize that he accidentally gave the jacket to Merab. The Georgian fighter paraded around the octagon with the jacket. Reports suggest O’Malley got the jacket back, but Merab keeps wearing another replica to play mind games with O’Malley.
