The storm still hasn’t settled since the controversial video of Dana White and his wife slapping each other surfaced on the internet. Sean O’Malley, the rising UFC star has given his take on the situation and made a risky joke. The bantamweight fighter, in his YouTube video said, the UFC boss’ wife deserved to be slapped back.
Sean O’Malley very recently fell into the fans’ good books for rejecting the Chechen warlord, Ramzan Kadyrov’s request to visit the shooting ranch. O’Malley is now losing fans over his controversial joke about Dana White and his wife. “Suga” took to his YouTube channel to react to this incident and pointed out that Anne White was the first to raise her hand.
“I feel bad for Dana,” said Sean O’Malley. “His wife slapped him. That is rude and deserves a slapping back,” added the fighter. However, this was not the most controversial take on his “BrOMalley” podcast. The fighter kicked off his segment with, “Oh God, speaking of knocking b**ches out” which fans believe crossed the line on a sensitive topic.
O’Malley’s defense to his outrageous claims was “treat people how you want to be treated”. The fighter has a strong social media presence which has added more fuel to fire. Fans have been all over O’Malley’s mentions since the controversial podcast episode dropped on his YouTube channel.

If you’re against Dana’s actions, say that and *only that*, don’t undo it by sympathizing, saying she “deserves a slapping back,” and then joking about domestic violence. You’d have gotten a different headline.

More people are trying to cancel Sean O’Malley for his comments about Dana hitting his wife, than Dana for actually hitting his wife #ufc #danawhite

With some fighters, I’ve been really disappointed and even slightly surprised to hear their bad take on Dana White hitting his wife. But Sean O’Malley saying this is probably the least surprising thing in the world https://t.co/mAtS4et1TW

Even if Sean O’Malley’s comment about Dana White’s incident with his wife was facetious in nature.

O’Malley and a group of MMA fans justify the video claiming it was “just a joke”. The bantamweight is not the first person to defend the UFC boss’ actions. Derek Brunson and Jamahal Hill were two other top fighters who openly defended White.
