Friendships across platforms are a common occurrence in the world of MMA. The streaming world is deeply connected to the combat sports world. This was again proven when Sean O’Malley received a spectacular gift from popular streamer Adin Ross. Ross presented the MMA star with a custom pink lowrider.
The surprise unfolded during one of Ross’s recent Kick broadcasts. He blindfolded O’Malley and took him to the vehicle location. The streamer then removed the blindfold over Sean O’Malley’s eyes and unveiled the eye-catching vehicle. O’Malley couldn’t contain his excitement as he laid eyes on the vibrant lowrider. This was a dream car he had long desired.
Ross and O’Malley had an agreement before O’Malley’s title fight versus Marlon Vera. Ross promised to buy O’Malley any car he desired if he won. When O’Malley emerged victorious, Ross fulfilled his vow impressively. The gifting circumstances highlighted their camaraderie and streaming’s rising influence in combat sports. Ross continues amassing fans and crafting memorable moments. Supporting MMA friends like ‘Suga‘ exemplified his success as a streamer.
The MMA scene has garnered interest in the streaming world. Streamers like Ross, Sneako, and others have taken an interest in becoming well-versed in MMA. Though they might suffer brutal beatdowns, their interest in combat sports remains firm. It remains to be seen if online streamers would one day form ‘Influencer MMA’ like they did with ‘Influencer boxing.’
Adin Ross gets into a sparring session with Sean O’Malley
Sean O’Malley, being the personality he is, playfully dominated Adin Ross in the recent sparring session. The viral clip captured an unlikely training pair. O’Malley is no stranger to training with popular internet celebrities. Comedian Andrew Schulz also went viral for his training with ‘Suga.’
Needless to say, Adin Ross and Sean O’Malley’s ‘sparring’ session‘ went exactly how one would’ve predicted. Despite the one-sided bout, fans are having a good laugh. This is not the Kick streamer’s first time getting a taste of UFC fighter’s skills in the ring. Alex Pereira, the light heavyweight king of UFC, also didn’t mind collaborating with the streamer recently.
Most part of the sparring turned out to be O’Malley literally chasing Ross, who was fearing for his health. Fighters would benefit greatly from collaborating with streamers like Ross. They have a huge audience, and it bodes well for fighters to gain fans from such a large fanbase. O’Malley and Pereira did the same and one can expect more fighters to join Ross in the not too distant future.
