After a splendid performance in Dana White’s Contender Series, Sean O’Malley was invited by Snoop Dogg. Now, ‘Suga’ explained the scene in a recent podcast. He said that winning the UFC contract and smoking with Snoop Dogg felt like a movie experience. Here is what Suga said:

So, I don't remember what we talked about at all. I was probably in there for twenty minutes, I might not have been. I could've been in there for three hours actually. Snoop Dogg commented on Dana White’s Contender Series alongside Uriah Faber in 2017. That was when Sean O’Malley knocked out Alfred Khashakyan in the very first round to earn a UFC contract. Dogg was so impressed by the knockout that he repeatedly yelled O’Malley’s name. He urged the UFC to give a contract to the kid. It was like the rapper knew about O’Malley’s potential.
Fast forward to 2023, Sean O’Malley was the UFC bantamweight champion and a huge star of the sport. Currently, he is training to face Marlon Vera for his first title defense at UFC 299. ‘Suga’ has a record of 17 wins and one loss, with that loss being to Marlon Vera.
