Sean O’Malley Trolls Twitter with a Tutorial

Sean O'Malley

Sean O’Malley brutally trolls haters and UFC fighters in the same video, a masterstroke, he posted on Instagram. The bantamweight star posted a tutorial on how not to poke people’s eyes during fights, poking fun at his last opponent.

Ever since his latest outing in the octagon against Pedro Munhoz ended in a no contest O’Malley has been vocal about how he considers himself to be the winner of that fight. The fight ended due to an accidental eye poke by Sean in the second round. Easily one of the saltiest fighters in the organisation O’Malley went on to Instagram to show people proper technique along with a training dummy he calls Petr Yan. He shows basic combinations, advising fans to keep their fingers folded in at all times. It’s usually outstretched fingers which lead to accidental eye pokes.

The video clearly references the eye poke which compromised his vision of Munhoz, however, Sean has stated that Munhoz just gave up after the poke so as to avoid defeat. According to Sean, Munhoz knew that he was about to lose, so he took the first ticket out. He even takes a little jab at Petr as the two have been jawing at each other for weeks now.

Sean ‘Sugar’ O’Malley was never shy of calling out fighters and he certainly wasn’t afraid ahead of UFC 276 where he named “Little Russian dude” Petr Yan as a potential matchup. Sean doesn’t seem to have changed his plans after UFC 276 as he explained during his podcast that the Petr fight is still the one that makes the most sense.

Most other top names at bantamweights are already scheduled for fights but Petr is not. However Sean is currently ranked 12th while Petr Yan is #1, so it would be easy for Petr to turn the fight which makes it impossible to guarantee the fight being scheduled.

In any case due to most of the ranked fighters being booked for fights fans might a while before they see O’Malley in the octagon.
