“To soon fat ass or you all talk”, Sean O’Malley’s challenge is met with a response from Henry Cejudo
Henry Cejudo and Sean O'Malley
Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo publicly challenged O’Malley during one of his post-fight interviews. As he prepares to return to the octagon, it appears that he has set his sights on Sean O’Malley as his next opponent.
Sean O’Malley most recent fight was a bantamweight match against Pedro Munhoz on July 2nd at UFC 276. The bout concluded in a No Contest after an eye poke rendered Munhoz unable to continue, leaving Sean O’Malley angry with how the fight unfolded, even blaming the judges for poor decision-making.
O’Malley shares his thoughts on the recent unexpected occurrences during an appearance on the Full Send podcast. He says, “For the judges to score that as him landing kicks on me, it’s because those judges aren’t experienced in mixed martial arts… It’s very amateur judging on their part, ’cause to say I lost any bit of that fight is ridiculous.”

Sean O’Malley calls out Henry Cejudo’s Bluff
Sean O’Malley is attempting to call Cejudo’s bluff. With his most recent fight ending in a draw, Sean is eager to face anyone as soon as possible, providing Henry with an opportunity to seek him out as an opponent.
Sean shows urgency when he Tweets, “Sept 10th to soon fat ass or you all. Can’t find his twitter someone tag please.” But he’s even calling out Cejudo this manner, implying that he knows Henry can’t fight that early.
“The Triple C” however immediately Tweets back Sean’s off ersaying, “Easy money. I love paperview points.” But mere moments later, he tweets, “Lol Ronald Methdonald got his feeling hurt. He doesn’t want to die! I’m Eligible in October per USDA. Plus I have to lose some of this Mexican fat. Ps make sure the Virgin boyz are in front row to witness the assassination. I love paperview point.”
Because of the UFC’s relationship with USADA, Cejudo is not eligible to return until October. Before they may compete again, all former fighters must go through six months of USADA testing.
So now it is up to Sean If he ready to wait till October to fight Cejudo or will he pass on this opportunity in order to fight someone sooner? Let us know in the comment section.
