Sean Strickland and Sean O’Malley are the latest champions in the UFC. After Sean O’Malley upset Aljamain Sterling to win the title at UFC 292, Strickland followed suit with an upset of his own against Israel Adesanya at UFC 293. However, both champions are polar opposites regarding their character and identity.

Sean O’Malley is everything that Sean Strickland hates. Strickland bashes Gen-Z as being disastrous for society on a regular basis. He has even bashed Steiny of the Nelk Boys in his appearance on the FullSend Podcast. Now, Strickland took it to X (formerly Twitter) to bash O’Malley and the Nelk Boys. This is what he tweeted:

Apparently, Sean Strickland took offense to O’Malley changing his views after his title win at UFC 292. On his appearance on the Pivot podcast hosted by Ryan Clarke, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder, O’Malley said that he was in an open relationship with his wife, Danya Gonzalez. However, he changed his stance after he won the title at UFC 292. On his appearance on the FullSend Podcast, O’Malley said that he would take offense at his wife having sex with other men. However, he is allowed to engage in sexual activities with other women.

This stance change forced Strickland to tweet against O’Malley and the Nelk Boys. Strickland had a rough childhood with parents who abused drugs. His life experience has molded him the way he is now. However, Strickland gave credit where it was due. Even though he questioned the character of Israel Adesanya, he never questioned the caliber of Adesanya as a fighter.

Preluding UFC 292, Sean Strickland picked Aljamain Sterling to triumph over Sean O’Malley. However, O’Malley shocked everyone with a second-round TKO. The reason for Strickland’s apprehension towards O’Malley was his aversion to the tattoos of O’Malley. Notably, Strickland does not have tattoos on his body.

Before O’Malley and Sterling fought at UFC 292, Strickland voiced his apprehension towards O’Malley on X (formerly Twitter). This is what Sean Strickland tweeted then,

Recently, O’Malley and Strickland were provided their upcoming bouts by Dana White. Strickland would headline UFC 297 in Vancouver, Canada, against Dricus Du Plessis. O’Malley would do the same against Marlon Vera at UFC 299.
