Sean Strickland has started the mental warfare against Israel Adesanya as he fights the champion this week in Australia. Israel Adesanya was recently observed participating in a customary smoke ritual alongside other Oceanic fighters such as Tai Tuivasa, Jamie Mullarkey, Shane Young, and Tyson Pedro.
Sean recently had an interview with MMA Junkie, during which he shared his thoughts on ‘The Last Stylebender’s participation in the ceremony. ‘Tarzan’ didn’t hold back his displeasure and used the term ‘spineless’ to describe Adesanya’s actions.
“Why was he there? I thought he’s Chinese, bro. What do you do to be Chinese? You go to a re-education camp. Here’s the thing about Izzy guys. Izzy is the definition of f**king spineless. That man will jump on any b*ll, any bandwagon that does him good.”
Sean Strickland revealed that Izzy doesn’t have any morals and will do anything that benefits him and his popularity among fight fans. Ahead of the fight, fans are expecting the press conference to be filled with verbal altercations between both fighters.
Israel Adesanya sends a serious message to his fans ahead of his movie’s release

Since winning the UFC middleweight championship in 2019, Israel Adesanya has been on a journey to greatness. The Nigerian has been one of the most consistent fighters in the division and has defended his title multiple times.
Adesanya’s film “Stylebender” is set to release later this month. The movie’s focus on themes like “false masculinity and the absence of emotional intelligence,” explained Izzy in an interview with Submission Radio prior to UFC 293. During the interview, the 34-year-old provided additional insights into the message he hopes to deliver to his audience through the film.
He said, “Even in this movie, I’m not saying try and be like me. I’m not saying go bathe in flowers, I’m not saying do your nails, I’m not saying be a fighter. I’m just saying, authentically express you….i want you to be free, so you need to be free from the shackles of society and the preconceived notions people have for you. Just be you. F**k me, be you.”
Adesanya has always been someone who is unapologetically himself and after his last win against rival Alex Pereira,he solidified his position as one of the current greats. Sean Strickland possesses a new threat to the champion at UFC 293 and Izzy will be looking forward to getting another title defense on his incredible resume.
