This is not the first time Strickland has posted about his controversial opinions.
Strickland also posted a video in which Du Plessis can be seen talking to his coach in the corner after the first round. While getting up, his coach can be seen patting Du Plessis’s crotch. This moment has sparked controversy in the MMA community and has fans divided over what they should think about it.
Strickland has been fighting in the UFC since 2014. He has fought in multiple divisions, such as welterweight, and light heavyweight, and currently fights in the middleweight division. Sean Strickland calls out Bruce Buffer
Sean Strickland calls out UFC ring announcer and legend Bruce Buffer after the legendary announcer delivered a stern message about the controversial fighter. Buffer said, “I said it earlier. Handle yourself with class, right? I have nothing against Sean. He hasn’t said anything bad to me. Buffer says that he originally had no problem with Strickland but only meant to address ‘Tarzan’s’ comments that he made before his last fight.
This message from Buffer caused the middleweight to reply on his Twitter account by saying, “More delusional from the entertainment industry, self-importance is the marker of fame.. I take my clothes off and bleed for the amusement of people. I understand what I am… I don’t think you understand what you are…”. After his recent fight, Strickland made headlines again for mentioning that women “should be placed back in the kitchen.”
Strickland is known for his controversial opinions and beefs with other fighters and personalities, which he uses to promote his fights and make headlines. Even though he is controversial, Strickland is still one of the most entertaining fighters in and out of the ring.
