Sean Strickland comments on recent Texas School Shooting

Sean Strickland has offered his comments on the recent tragedy that took place in Texas.

The UFC middleweight fighter is known to be controversial and this time he lives up to his reputation. The fighter having no filter has caused a lot of controversies and yet, Sean Strickland does not shy away from speaking what he thinks.

Yesterday a terrible tragedy occurred in the state of Texas where a teenage young boy who possessed a gun, shot up an elementary school where 19 kids and two adults were injured in this incident. The gunman has killed himself and also hurt one of his family members before leaving his place. Gun violence has been a regular occurrence in the country of the United States of America and Sean Strickland is not against possession of assault weapons.

According to Strickland, the solution to the school shooting problems are to allow the teachers of the school to be armed at all times in case of such tragedies. “Teachers should really be armed….. Why is it such a bad idea? You can carry a gun anywhere but the moment you walk onto a gun you hit the gun safe zone. Absolutely retarded let teachers carry.”

Sean Strickland says the gun laws should not change

When a fan responded to Sean’s initial suggestion of offering teachers of elementary schools to be armed with weapons, a fan pointed out that it would do no good. The Twitter user suggested it would be the right thing to ban guns in their entirety for common civilian use. However, Strickland does not agree with that.

“I mean don’t tell that to the Jews of nazi Germany lol! Not knocking on Germans I’m just saying the second amendment has deep deep roots in our country and will not and should not change,” wrote back Sean regarding the second amendment of the US constitution that suggests the citizens have a right to legally own weapons.

Strickland will soon be fighting in the octagon at UFC 276 against Alex Pereira.
