Does Rumble streamer Sneako (Nicolas “Nico” Kenn De Balinthazy) get his moniker from a habit of “sneaking in”? If so, that might just be useful for the internet sensation, as he now faces a ban from the UFC. Very recently, he sparred with former champ Sean Strickland. ‘Tarzan’ went on to mercilessly obliterate him with a swarm of full-powered left shots. This went down at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin uploaded the incident online.
Sneako has sparred with the likes of Nate Diaz and Jake Shields. With influencers trying to transition to the combat sports bubble, it is the new craze. But his session with ‘Tarzan’ and suffering yet another manhandling at the hands of Merab Dvalishvili recently went viral. In the case of the Georgian bantamweight, it was elsewhere, as the influencer streamer got banned from the UFC PI.
As per the former champ, UFC CBO and head litigator Hunter Campbell recently blocked the offer for a crossover/sparring session between Strickland and Jake Paul. Sneako’s bloody beatdown could be a prime reason for such, leading up to his ban at the UFC PI. With Sneako himself hinting at possible CTE after brutal sparring, there could be significant legal ramifications should he continue.
Consequently, the MMA community has not lost its love for X. Additionally, some have bid adieu to the controversial streamer in good faith. A prime reaction on X noted, “[On his ban] as he should be. There is no need to bring a clown around professional fighters.” And it isn’t the only one.
Fight fans react to controversial streamer Sneako getting banned from UFC PI
Influencer-MMA crossover cultures are all the craze; so are influencer-beatdowns. If not for all, then at the very least for Sneako. The Rumble streamer recently went head-on against Sean Strickland and left bloodied. However, that isn’t where the buck stops. Another recent viral footage showed him under the dominance of Merab Dvalishvili.
On both counts, the fighters themselves have praised Sneako for being able to somewhat keep up with them. However, the fight bubble is not too fond of this sort of collaboration. Accordingly, here’s how some have reacted to his ban from the UFC PI:
Many fans have indulged in witless humor and quips to diss at the streamer. Some, however, have expressed concerns that his continued association with MMA fighters might cause serious legal troubles.
Sneako also has a serious feud with the IBJJF black belt winner and American submission grappler Mikey Musumeci. He recently diminished the worth of the prominent BJJ practitioner. Accordingly, Musumeci called out the controversial streamer for an MMA bout, to which Sneako agreed. With him out of the Performance Institute, it remains to be seen if such a matchup can excite the MMA community.
