Hyped heavyweight prospect, Shamil Gaziev, faced the credited Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC Vegas 87. Despite doing well in the first round, the Dagestani fighter lost control of the fight afterward. As such, he threw very little offense and lost the bout. Before the final round, he complained of having trouble with vision. Now, fans noticed a moment from the fight when Gaziev attempted a takedown and crashed into the cage.

Throughout the fight, Shamil Gaziev tried to wrestle Jairzinho Rozenstruik. But, he failed miserably as ‘Bigi Boy’ stuffed all of his takedowns except one. While defending the first takedown of the fight, Rozenstruik just circled out, leading Gaziev to crash head-first into the cage. Fans found the moment hilarious and shared the clip on social media.

The incident happened in round one, just ten seconds into the fight. One could hear the commentator, Daniel Cormier, sighing when Gaziev hit the cage going for a takedown. Further, Cormier stated the Dagestani rushed the takedown and telegraphed it.

Shamil Gaziev came to UFC Las Vegas with a lot of hype around him as the Dagestani carried an undefeated record of 12-0. As such, Jairzinho Rozenstruik derailed the hype train and handed Gaziev his first professional loss. The striking of ‘Bigi Boy’ combined with his takedown defense and cardio made the difference. Coming off a devastating loss to Jailton Almeida, this was a much-needed win for Rozenstruik.

Shamil Gaziev vs. Jairzinho rozenstruik went down in the main event of UFC Vegas 87. With spectacular prelim finishes, many expected an action-packed maincard and main event. But, it fairly remained underwhelming. In the main event, Gaziev looked exhausted from round two and eventually lost the bout before the fifth round. As such, fans caught an embarrassing clip of him from the fight to troll the Dagestani fighter.

Since ‘Bigi Boy’ just moved out of the way, Gaziev hit his head in the cage, moving with momentum. As such, fans noticed the moment and shared it on social media to troll the fighter.
