Song Yadong is as tough as they come. The Chinese bantamweight is coming off one of the most brutal fights in the UFC and is taking his loss like a champ. The medical report of the fighter’s sustained injuries will blow your mind.

At UFC Vegas 60, Song Yadong took on one-time title challenger, Cory Sandhagen in an enticing fight. The two bantamweights went head-to-head for four rounds of a bloody war. It took a doctor to stop the fight and protect Yadong from taking any more damage from the top bantamweight.

This was the biggest fight of Song’s career and he sure did show his level against a top-class fighter. In a recent tweet, the Chinese posted his X-Ray from the injury and revealed how he felt during the fight. The Kung-fu Kid’s injury was one of the most devastating injuries of the night.

“Since round 2, I was seeing triple vision because of this orbital fracture, I was facing three Cory in front of me. A titanium piece will put in for me next week, will come back tougher with the metal,” wrote Song in his recent tweet.

Song Yadong is currently 19-7-1 in his professional MMA career with eight wins and two losses in his time in the UFC. The highly-talented bantamweight is only 24 years old which makes the sky the limit for his future in the UFC. His fight against Sandhagen showed that he has the skills to go toe-to-toe with the creme de la creme of the division.

The bantamweight division is no walk in the park and Song sure has a tough path ahead before he reaches the top of the mountain.
