“Biggest reach in MMA Twitter history” – Streamer gets destroyed online for making ins*ne STEROID accusations about Jiri Prochazka’s shoulder injury ahead of UFC 295 title fight
Controversy surrounds Jiri Prochazka as a streamer's unfounded steroid claims ignite backlash. The streamer questioned whether there was any truth to Prochazka's injury last year.

Jiri Prochazka vacated the title after a shoulder injury in 2022. He is scheduled to fight at UFC 295 against Alex Pereira. The shoulder injury came just months after his title triumph against Glover Teixeira at UFC 275. Dana White even called the injury the worst he has ever seen. Prochazka is one of the most respected fighters in the UFC, mainly due to his adherence to the Samurai code, Bushido.
Now, a streamer got on the bad side of the MMA community after a tweet that insinuated that Prochazka did not have an injury. Moreover, he claimed that Prochazka’s absence in the UFC was due to steroid use. Prochazka was one of the most tested athletes by USADA in 2022. The streamer used this fact to push his theory forward. This is what the streamer tweeted:
Jiri was never injured. USADA tested him more in a month than any other fighter on the roster in the entire year of 2022. Then he had the “worst shoulder injury in the history of the UFC”. Returns a year later with no scar and it’s as if it never even happened.Streamer Coty Dankh via X.
Unfortunately, fans did not spare any time to bash the streamer. Moreover, there was solid proof of his injury. MMA Journalist Amy Kaplan and renowned coach Eric Nicksick were among those who witnessed the injury of Prochazka. It needs to be noted that the accusation of the USADA and UFC joining hands to do dirty work does not seek reliability. This is particularly due to their acrimonious split recently.
Nevertheless, Prochazka would look to reclaim the title he vacated by defeating Alex Pereira at UFC 295. Interestingly, Prochazka defeated Pereira’s mentor, Glover Teixeira, to become the undisputed light heavyweight champion at UFC 275 in Singapore. It was Prochazka’s third fight in the UFC. Pereira is no slouch either, as he won the middleweight title in his fourth fight in the UFC against dominant champion Israel Adesanya.
Streamer faces backlash for making unfounded Steroid accusations regarding Jiri Prochazka
A popular streamer faced significant backlash from the online community for making unfounded steroid accusations about Jiri Prochazka before the UFC 295 title fight at Madison Square Garden. This incident has stirred controversy. On the fight week of UFC 295, the streamer alleged on X that Jiri Prochazka’s shoulder injury was fake and his absence was due to steroid use.
His claims lacked evidence and credibility and thus sparked significant backlash on X. See the fan’s reaction to the streamer’s accusations below
The USADA and the UFC have announced their split after 2023. Therefore, it does not make any sense for the USADA to cover a failed drug test of Prochazka. The USADA CEO tried to make Joe Rogan and Conor McGregor scapegoats for their split with the UFC. Moreover, Prochazka adheres to the Bushido code, where honor is valued very highly.
