Sergei Pavlovich has quickly become the talking point of the UFC’s heavyweight division. Standing at 6’3, he is already quite intimidating to begin with. However, what makes him scarier is the fact that his punches are powerful and accurate.
At UFC Orlando, Pavolvich took on #4 ranked UFC heavyweight, Tai Tuivasa. Many fans expected this match to be an out and out brawl. However, they were not ready for what actually happened. Pavlovich rained down some heavy punches on Tuivasa and knocked him down twice before putting him out for good. All of this insanity happened within the first minute of the very first round of the fight.
Sergei Pavolvich ended up winning the fight with only 2 strikes absorbed. He, however, landed 23 of his own before the referee called the fight. Such a dominant showing from Pavlovich has certainly raised his stock within the promotion and among the fans. Pavlovich had earlier beaten Derrick Lewis in a controversial stoppage victory. Despite that, Sergei Pavlovich had an absolutely dominant showing as he dispatched of Tai Tuivasa in no time at all.

With such a dominant showing, Sergei Pavlovich has certainly impressed the MMA community with his skills. However, with the UFC heavyweight division being at a standstill right now, a title shot seems unlikely for anyone not named Jon Jones. It remains to be seen where this momentum of Sergei’s carries him.
