It is safe to say TJ Dillashaw and Aljamain Sterling absolutely hate each other. Any fight that has a personal grudge involved in it only makes for a blockbuster. The two bantamweights are ready to demolish the other in their upcoming title fight.

TJ Dillashaw is all set and ready to take on the reigning bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling. While the entire world is starting to accept the fact that Sterling is a legitimate champion, the former king of the division, TJ absolutely slams the Funkmaster for his fighting abilities. According to Dillashaw, Sterling does not deserve to wear that precious bantamweight belt.

Aljamain has made all his doubters eat their words after his win against Petr Yan at UFC 273. Sterling hasn’t necessarily had nice things to say about Dillashaw either. The reigning champion has slammed Dillashaw for his usage of steroids. It was only fair that the former champ hit back at his rival.

According to TJ, Aljamain is not even near championship material. The former champion is hundred percent confident that his skills triumph Sterlings by a mile. “I haven’t been impressed with his wrestling. He’s a wrestler and I’ve been wrestling D1. I think his takedown defense is under 50 percent,” said TJ downplaying the wrestling skills of Aljo, talking to MMA Junkie in a recent interview.

Wrestling is Sterling’s best weapon, and TJ had something bad to say about it. There’s no doubt Dillashaw absolutely went in on Aljamain’s striking. “It’s embarrassing that he’s the champion. His striking is that bad. It’s god-awful. He uses his awkwardness to his advantage, but when you start throwing with him he just cowers,” TJ added in the interview.

In the end, Dillashaw believes he is better than Sterling in all aspects of fighting. “I can out-grapple you, I can out-strike you, and I’m going to put on a clinic,” said TJ sending a warning to his opponent.
