“A beer makes everything feel better. What a guy, big Curtis and his team popped up to say hello. Freak accidents happen unfortunately, tonight wasn’t my night. Love u all,” wrote Aspinall in his latest Instagram post, sharing a picture of him and Blaydes drinking a pint of beer.

Aspinall left the octagon on a stretcher and was barely able to stand on his feet. The fighter will surely be out for many weeks and several reports suggest that Tommy blew out his MCL during the fight. It is very unfortunate that Aspinall’s unbeaten run in the UFC had to end because of an injury.

Curtis Blaydes was also very disappointed with the outcome of the fight and said that he won’t take credit for the win. The fighter has said he won’t demand a title shot despite having a win over a top contender on paper. Blaydes feels sorry for his opponent and wishes to run things back.
