Hollywood star Tom Hardy made his appearance at the UFC Apex to witness the action of UFC Vegas 87. However, the main card of the Fight Night was underwhelming, with low-output fights. This had the fight fans question the actor’s mood for the event. Hardy was an avid fan of martial arts and trained in Jiu-Jitsu himself.

UFC Europe posted a picture of Tom Hardy from UFC Vegas 87 on X. The picture soon captured the attention of the fight fans. Although the fight event saw some spectacular finishes in the prelims, the main card remained underwhelming. As such, fans were disappointed, and knowing Hardy was present for these fights only left them sulking.

Only recently did Mark Zuckerberg make his presence at UFC 298. As such, Tom Hardy’s appearance at UFC Vegas 87 was a sign of the growing popularity of the UFC. However, the Hollywood star was well aware of the MMA space as he featured in the 2011 film Warrior, which became one of the best MMA films.

Since then, Tom Hardy has taken an interest in Jiu-Jitsu and continued practicing the gentle art regularly. As such, he had earned multiple medals at regional competitions. Recently, he met the grappling star Mikey Musumeci amidst his busy shooting schedule. As such, his visit to UFC Vegas 87 only asserted the passion Hardy had for martial arts.

UFC Vegas 87 went down successfully this weekend, with Jairzinho Rozenstruik taking on the undefeated Dagestani prospect Shamil Gaziev in the main event. Gaziev gassed out after the first round and showed very little offense, leading to a lackluster performance. The two fights preceding this were also draggy, spoiling the fans’ excitement. Now, the UFC disclosed Hollywood star Tom Hardy was in attendance for the event.
