Jamahal Hill is one of the more lively fighters on the UFC roster. Recently, a video of Hill surfaced on Twitter where he is seen enjoying himself with his crew at UFC Fight Night in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Hill is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and a fan favorite. He claimed the title at UFC 283 after defeating Glover Teixeira via a unanimous decision. He is a truly illustrious fighter and well-loved and respected by fans for his humble character. After defeating Teixeira, Hill has noticeably beefed up. Fans commented about his inflated physique and his jolly merry time in North Carolina last week.
With only 9 fights into the promotion, Jamahal Hill is already the new UFC light heavyweight champion. He has a professional record of 12 wins and 1 loss accompanied by 1 no-contest. Although he is the champion, Hill ranks 14th in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings. Now with top contenders like Jon Jones & Jiri Prochazka out of the division, the light heavyweight weight class seems to be attracting more and more competition.
But Jamahal Hill doesn’t seem to be much worried about it as viral video surfaces of him grooving at UFC Fight Night in Charlotte. Fans took to Twitter to share their reaction to his dance moves. It will be interesting to see if Jamahal Hil dances through his title defenses the same way he dances in the video. He is a highly capable athlete and the fight just keeps getting stronger. Jiri Prochazka, the previous owner of the UFC light heavyweight belt and #1 in the men’s heavyweight ranks, is returning, and he wants his title back.
Meanwhile, former UFC middleweight Alex Pereira plans to step into the light heavyweight division too. With so much atmosphere to perform in the end, it shall be seen whether Hill folds under pressure or pushes through competition.
