Francis Ngannou has finally revealed his next move to join the Professional Fighters League months after quitting UFC. Francis Ngannou is one of the biggest MMA superstars in the world and has the reputation of being the hardest puncher. 

Ngannou got his fame after becoming the UFC heavyweight champion by defeating Stipe Miocic in 2021. The ‘Predator’ defended his belt once but eventually had a rift with UFC and Dana White. Both parties failed to reach a mutual agreement which led to the promotion cutting out Ngannou from its roster.

“The Predator” wanted more money and a lucrative deal catering to his boxing interests which UFC didn’t provide. But it seems like the French-Cameroonian has finally got his perfect deal with the PFL. The promotion made it official that Ngannou has joined PFL and is scheduled to fight super-fight PPV division next year, while taking care of his boxing bout this year. 

According to MMA reporter Ariel Helani, this new deal allows Ngannou equity and leadership roles” in the PFL. On top of it, the role of the chairman of the newly-started PFL Africa.

Fight fans have been waiting for Francis Ngannou’s next move for some time now and it has finally been finalized. Many believed that the former UFC champion was wasting his prime years by leaving the UFC. However, now Ngannou has proved everybody wrong and finally got his required deal. Many criticized Ngannou for being scared of Jon Jones and choosing an easy path outside UFC where the competition in the heavyweight division is way less. On the other hand, according to a number of fans, Ngannou did the right thing and it will attract more audience to the promotion.
