Tyron Woodley is currently out of contact roaming as a free agent. Woodley’s last fight was in a boxing ring when he fought Jake Paul back in December 2021. His last appearance inside the Octagon came at UFC 260 when he lost against Vicente Luque after he tapped out to Luque. While there was growing speculation over his retirement from combat sports, it seems Woodley wants a fight against the Diaz Brothers.
Tyron Woodley made an appearance on the MMA junkie youtube channel. Woodley discussed his current status in his combat career and reflected on his match with Jake Pual. Tyron cleared all the rumors going on about him retiring and was aiming to return by 2023. Woodley also revealed his desire to fight the Diaz Brothers inside a boxing ring.
Woodley believes he and the Diaz Brothers can make a lot of cash facing each other. Tyron said, “I Suggest him [Nate] come over on this side and make some money with me because I’ve got a good opportunity where me and Nick or Nate, or both of them, can make quite a few millions of dollars fighting each other.”
Further, he went on to say, “So, I don’t know if y’all got contact with them, but I was just texting somebody before y’all hit me up. How do you get in touch with Nick and Nate? So, it’s funny you even said that. But I’ve got a pretty big opportunity where I feel like we can walk away very handsomely [paid].”
Nate Diaz has not competed in UFC since defeating Tony Ferguson at UFC 279 and is a free agent. While his brother is still on a contract with UFC. So it makes Nate Diaz facing Woodley more probable. Nate Diaz has not made any statement on the future of his career yet. Nate has a lot of opportunities for him from venturing into the realms of professional wrestling and boxing.
Tyron Woodley responds to KSI’s online provocations
Tyron Woodley has turned into a boxer since quitting the UFC after 4 straight losses. After losing his back-to-back boxing matches against Jake Pual it seems he is about to face another YouTuber KSI. KSI has been provoking Woodley for quite some time. He even made a poll on Twitter, asking his followers who he should face next, and the majority of votes went to Tyron Woodley.
Wooden replied to KSI by appearing on the TMZsports youtube channel and calling him for a match in January.
T-Wood said, “At the end of the day, KSI, I like that he’s energetic, he’s all into it, he’s all over the place, but he’s gonna get fucked up playing around with me. My new slogan is ‘Don’t get fucked up by having me fucked up,’ and he’s had me fucked up for a long time, talking shit about my name..January, we can get it cracking. We can get it cracking in White Castles. We can get it cracking in the UK. We can get it cracking in Vegas. You can pull up to the golf course. When I get done doing these 18 holes, you can be the 19th hole to get beat up. So let’s get it cracking, man”

Tyron Woodley’s fighting career has seen a dip lately and he needs a comeback to stay relevant. Woodley facing KSI could draw a lot of attention and be beneficial for both their careers.
