With Andrew Schulz as a guest on his podcast, Joe Rogan was discussing how Jon Jones is the best combat sports athlete the world has right now. The world has always wanted to see Tyson Fury, who is considered the best current heavyweight boxer by many, and Jones who is the best heavyweight fighter in the UFC, go against each other. Joe Rogan was confident that Tyson Fury would not be able to beat him in a fight. “No one thinks Tyson Fury can beat Jon Jones in a fightTyson doesn’t think that”, Rogan says.

In addition to being the UFC Heavyweight Champion, Jon “Bones” Jones is a former two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, former interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, and is currently the #1 pound-for-pound UFC fighter.

Since 2012, Jones has been arrested a total of five times. Some of his charges include reckless driving, hit-and-run, violation of probation, DWI, and domestic violence. The UFC stripped him of his title in 2015 for the hit-and-run incident which involved a pregnant lady.

Despite all the dents he put himself in his legacy, Jon Jones’s skill as a fighter, his domination in the division, in the UFC, and the sport of MMA cannot be taken away from him, for now.
