Aspinall is presently without an opponent. He recently called out Stipe Miocic but the UFC seems not to have interest in it. Conversely, Ciryl Gane called out Aspinall after UFC 295. However, Aspinall rejected the idea. This is due to Gane turning down Aspinall at UFC Paris. Nevertheless, Aspinall is poised to become one of the best heavyweights in the UFC according to Michael Bisping.
