Rafael dos Anjos’s championship dreams are dead. The legendary fighter believes it is for him to fight veterans and end his professional fighting career. The former lightweight champion of the world believes he deserves to choose the opponent for his next fight.

There are not many people who are game when it comes to fighting anyone, anywhere, anytime than the Brazilian champ, Rafael Dos Anjos. The legendary UFC fighter is 37 years old and has fought two generations of fighters in the UFC. After being here for more than two decades in the UFC, RDA has fought nothing but the best of the best inside that octagon. The Brazilian believes his time is nearing to hang his gloves and is no longer motivated to fight the young blood of the division.

Rafael believes his time has come and wants to go out on a high note. In a recent tweet, the former champ lists out the potential opponents he would like to face for his next fight. RDA wants to fight some of the old-school veterans who are still fighting. dos Anjos has been in the UFC since 2008 and his demands are very reasonable.

In his recent tweet, Rafael hinted that he will soon be calling quits on a glorious career of professional fighting. The fighter has a few names in mind who he would like to face in the lightweight division for his next fight. “I had my last title run…and now it is time to fight people that motivates me to wake up and train. I have almost eight hours of octagon time…” said RDA hinting at retirement.

“Get me a veteran for a change! I would love to fight guys like Jim Miller, Jorge Masvidal or get my rematch with Tony Ferguson or Guida,” RDA listed the opponents he would like to face for his next fight. All the fighters that RDA mentioned are veterans like him who have done it all inside the octagon. RDA did not stop here, he has a couple of other names who he would like to dance with inside the octagon from the welterweight division.

“Wonderboy and Matt Brown at 170 would be options too… I’m always game…,” added RDA in another tweet. RDA is coming off a loss against rising lightweight talent, Rafael Fiziev. All of the matchups listed by RDA are amazing on paper, who do you want the former champ to fight next?
