Nate Diaz was injured while fighting Jake Paul. According to various sources, including Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Nate Diaz had injuries that remained undisclosed leading up to his fight against Jake Paul. These injuries included a back injury and a pulled muscle, which if true definitely affected his preparation and performance in the fight.

” I don’t know if he said this to the press — but he was injured,” Jackson revealed on his podcast. He revealed that when Jackson went to visit Diaz after the fight in the locker room. There he noticed that one of Diaz’s pecs was smaller than the other. “‘Oh man, I got a f—ed up pinched nerve in my back,’” Diaz told Jackson.
However, Nate Diaz still went ahead with the bout against Jake Paul. It was Nate’s debut fight in boxing and Jake Paul defeated Nate Diaz by unanimous decision. The fight which took place earlier this August gathered significant attention all over social media. The fight reportedly generated about $27 million in revenue. Nate Diaz received a guaranteed $500,000 for the fight.
