Tracy Cortez is returning to action on UFC Fight Night UFC 227. The event is headlined by a women’s flyweight bout between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko. Cortez, a former bantamweight, currently fights at flyweight.

Cortez is scheduled to fight Jasmine Jasudavicius at the event. She last fought at UFC 274, which was headlined by Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje. Cortez had a high-profile relationship with UFC featherweight Brian Ortega. They have since broken up and had a social media skirmish. The recent pictures of Cortez in the new Venum fight kit had won fans over. Tracy Cortez is undefeated in the UFC. She lost her debut fight to Cheri Muraski in Invicta and has not lost since. She has a professional record of 9-1. Cortez entered the UFC through the Dana White Contender Series with a victory over Maria Agapova. She also holds a notable victory over flyweight contender Erin Blanchfield in what was Blanchfield’s only loss on MMA. Blanchfield is ranked second at flyweight and fifth-ranked women’s pound-for-pound fighter.
