MMA action will be back with UFC Vegas 60 this weekend and the fight card is stacked with impressive fights. The main event consists of the much-anticipated bantamweight bout between Cory Sandhagen vs Song Yadong.
Sandhagen, the #4 fighter in the division will take on the #10 fighter, Song Yadong as both fighters search for a win. Going into the fight, Sandhagen is on a two-fight losing streak and desperately wants to get back the winning momentum.
Sandhagen was doing great and was also on the run for the Bantamweight title shot however, everything crumbled when he lost to T.J. Dillashaw at UFC Vegas 32 via unanimous decision. Even after that, ‘The Sandman’ got another opportunity against Petr Yan for the UFC Interim bantamweight but he lost again.
On the other hand, Song has won three fights in a row and is fully confident about his performances. In his last fight earlier this year, Song beat Marlon Moraes via KO in the first round. ‘The Kung fu kid’ would like to beat Sandhagen in order to go up in the rankings and fight the top five fighters in the division.
