Revealed: Unseen conversation between Adrian Yanez and Tony Kelly feuding over the finish at UFC on ESPN on 37

Adrian Yanez vs Tony Kelley

After Saturday night, Adrian Yanez is even more of a fan favorite. With a knockout of Tony Kelley at UFC Austin, the bantamweight striker went to 5-0 in the UFC, exciting his fellow fighters, many of whom had earlier expressed their unhappiness with opponent Tony Kelley’s prior insulting statements aimed at Brazilians.

Kelley made no apologies for his remarks, and before his battle with Yanez, he threw up a pair of middle fingers, a gesture that Yanez returned after gaining the victory. Yanez, like many outstanding athletes, profited from the impact of a strong role model who guided him in the right direction.

After the fight, cameras got a less-than-flattering portrayal of Kelley, who claimed he was the victim of an early stoppage. Kelley approached Yanez during the commercial before the decision was read and told him he didn’t go out, the two later went on a tussle to illustrate that the other person was out. Here’s the same being reported by Aaron Bronsteter, here is the said tweet:-

Yanez has established himself as one of the sport’s bright up-and-comers, and he believes this win will set him up for some major future matchups. The 27-year-old has won seven consecutive fights and is 3-0 in the UFC, with three finishes Victor Rodriguez, Gustavo Lopez, and Randy Costa. Yanez who spent time working with Aljamain Sterling ahead of the fight has observed some of the recent high-level bantamweight battles with a student mentality, which has helped his confidence as well.
