Amanda Nunes was never going to let the doubters put a black mark on her legacy as the Greatest women’s fighter in the history of mixed martial arts. The Brazilian went out and got her belt bantamweight back against Julianna Pena in the main event of UFC 277. Not only did she win her belt back, but she also did it in a dominant fashion reminding people of why she’s called the GWOAT.

Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena’s rematch today at UFC 277 really showed that Nunes is levels ahead of the rest of the roster. Amanda’s performance at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas today really starts to put a doubt in the people’s minds if Julianna’s win over Nunes was just a fluke, as many reckoned before. “The Lioness” went out there in the main event and thrashed the champion to reclaim her title as the bantamweight queen.

Nunes, today became the first-ever UFC fighter to become the double champ twice in their career. Nunes now can proudly announce herself as the two-division champion again after putting her rivalry against Julianna to bed.
